About Mysha

Marika Frumes founded Mysha in 2019 after experiencing firsthand what most new mothers eventually discover: the transition into motherhood is isolating in a way you can’t plan for.

She built the community she needed.

Six years later, Mysha serves 1,000 members across NYC, NJ, CT, LA, Miami, and Austin. Members are C-suite executives, founders, type-A, cosmopolitan, and deeply connected, the women who shape purchasing decisions and drive recommendations far beyond their immediate circles. Ninety-six percent of Mysha members have shared a pod recommendation outside of Mysha.

Mysha has grown almost entirely by word of mouth. That's not an accident, it's the result of a community that actually delivers on what it promises: meaningful connection, vetted resources, and a space where modern mothers can show up as full people, not just parents.

The brands that show up well here earn something most marketing budgets can't buy: genuine trust with an audience that pays attention.

Role Overview

Mysha is a premium, referral-based membership community for modern mothers — 1,000+ members, predominantly C-suite executives and founders, across NYC, NJ, CT, LA, Miami, and Austin. We have a 52% newsletter open rate, 7M+ member social reach, and 98% of our

members have purchased a product recommended in their pod. Sponsors don't just get access to an audience- they get access to the women who set the agenda for everyone around them.

We're hiring a Sponsorship Manager to own revenue across our flagship events and community touchpoints. This is a sales-led role for an experienced closer with an existing network in event and community sponsorships, a real track record, and the instincts to run a pipeline without hand-holding.

You'll inherit a warm prospect list, an established brand, and a community that sponsors genuinely want in front of. Your job is to convert that into a clean, predictable revenue line and grow it.

You will own the strategy and execution of sponsorships that drive member value, engagement, and revenue. This role works through close cross-team collaboration and plays a central role in positioning Mysha as the premium membership community for modern mothers.

Why Join Mysha?

The community sells itself. Our members are the women CMOs are trying to reach, and they trust Mysha's recommendations in a way that most media buys can't replicate. When you walk into a pitch, you're not convincing anyone the audience is valuable. You're closing.

The earning potential is real and uncapped. You'll be working a warm list from day one, with full autonomy over how you build and run your pipeline. No bureaucracy, no committee approvals on every deal, just you, the relationship, and the close.

And the mission is worth selling. Mysha was founded because modern motherhood needed a better infrastructure. The women in this community feel that, and so do the brands that show up for them well.

You’ll plug into a small, collaborative team with a deep commitment to connection, creativity, and community. The opportunity is to inherit a warm prospect list, an established brand, and a community sponsors want access to, and convert that into a clean, predictable revenue

line.

You’ll also gain access to one of the most powerful ecosystems for ambitious mothers in the USA.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sponsorship Sales & Revenue (primary)
  • Develop and execute a sponsorship strategy that supports member engagement, growth, and long-term business goals
  • Hit agreed quarterly and annual sponsorship revenue targets
  • Identify, pitch, and close partnerships with premium venues and brands
  • Manage and convert inbound sponsorship inquiries, respond promptly, qualify fit, and move warm leads through the pipeline
  • Re-engage Mysha’s existing sponsor and prospect list, and extend the pipeline through your own network and targeted outreach
  • Own sponsorship sales for Mysha’s flagship multi-city event series (#Motheryourself and Career Day), and attach sponsor revenue to recurring touchpoints (events,
  • newsletters, and other opportunities that you’ll help us identify)
  • Tailor pitches, decks, and proposals per sponsor opportunity using Mysha’s templates and brand assets (Canva, Notion)
  • Negotiate sponsorship terms
  • Maintain a clean view of the pipeline so leadership always knows where revenue and future programming stand

Sponsor Relationship Management

  • Hold each sponsor relationship through the full lifecycle: pitch, contract, delivery period, post-event reporting, and renewal
  • Partner with operations on every deal handoff: operations executes the deliverables (WhatsApp mentions, newsletter placements, gift bag logistics, on-the-ground activation); you stay in front of the sponsor
  • Deliver post-event ROI summaries and renewal conversations that protect the relationship and grow the spend year-over-year
  • Flag risk early when a sponsor commitment is at risk of slipping, so operations can correct course before it affects the sponsor experience

Strategic Input into Packaging & Pricing

  • Consult with operations and leadership on what sponsorship packages, price points, and structures will land in the market
  • Design partnership models that create mutual value and scale across cities
  • Surface patterns from the field (what sponsors are asking for, what’s getting traction, what’s hitting friction) so packaging can evolve

Community Engagement

  • Stay close to the Mysha community and member experience so the sponsors you bring in align with member life
  • Ensure sponsorships feel intentional, premium, and aligned with Mysha’s curation standards
  • Attend key Mysha events where your sponsor's presence is useful
  • Represent Mysha as an Ambassador of the brand in sponsor conversations

Skills, Abilities, and Experiences

  • 5+ years selling event sponsorships, with a real, demonstrable track record: you can name the deals you’ve closed, the targets you’ve hit, and the revenue you’ve added
  • Experience selling community sponsorships is a strong plus
  • An existing network of brand contacts, agency contacts, or sponsor decision-makers you can mobilize immediately
  • Proven ability to close $60K+ sponsorship deals aligned with a community of modern mothers
  • Strong pitch craft and exceptional communication: you can write the deck, customize it per sponsor, and walk it through a buyer with confidence; Canva and Notion fluency expected
  • Strong follow-through and account management instincts: sponsors describe working with you as organized, responsive, and easy
  • Comfortable operating from a playbook with light oversight: self-directed and collaborative; you partner cleanly with operations
  • Excellent negotiation skills across fees, revenue share, and barter arrangements
  • Clear, kind, concise communication: equally credible on Zoom with a CMO and in a Slack thread with the internal team
  • Personal integrity and providing value within your professional and personal relationships are driving forces for you
  • A people person and a connector who values cultivating relationships with lots of different kinds of people
  • Extreme attention to detail across multiple sponsors, deadlines, and contracts
  • Genuine connection to Mysha’s mission and the lives of modern mothers
  • You see the world as gray, not black and white.

What Success Looks Like

  • Sponsorship revenue hits the target on a predictable cadence and grows year over year
  • Flagship event sponsor slots are filled at or above target each cycle
  • A renewing portfolio of sponsors who describe Mysha as one of their best partnership experiences
  • Sponsor activations that feel additive to the Mysha member experience
  • Clean, predictable handoffs between sales and operations on every deal

Compensation and Engagement Structure

  • 1099 contractor engagement
  • Monthly retainer plus performance-based commission structured as a revenue share on sponsorships closed and delivered
  • Remote-friendly; light travel required (2 - 3x/year) to flagship events and key sponsor meetings
  • NYC/tri-state area preferred; remote candidates with strong existing market presence considered

We are a small but mighty team, and we focus on hiring top talent who are seeking to grow professionally and personally, and to be a major part of the company’s growth.
