We are looking for an analytical and detail oriented Editorial Product & Engagement Manager to join our Business Travel News (BTN) team. You will manage, analyze and report on social media and engagement with BTN Group editorial products.
You will maintain certain editorial products, including Corporate Travel Index, BTN Academy and other benchmarking and database-driven marketplace tools. You’ll get to work alongside editorial and marketing teams to leverage content across all BTN Group editorial brands through social, email promotion and other engagement channels. You will also track engagement metrics per audience segment and collaborate with internal teams to pivot strategies accordingly.
This role will split their time between our New York City and/or Rutherford, New Jersey office (1 day per week) and working remote (4 days). Flexibility is provided.
What You’ll Do:
- Compose and post social media outreach daily, as well as copywriting for and managing an active email promotion schedule
- • Interface with both the editorial and marketing teams for content curation, messaging strategy and engagement channel management and analysis
- • Take day-to-day responsibility for marquee BTN products and become an integral part of a project team that will transform BTN’s Supplier Directory into a modern corporate travel supplier marketplace
Who You Are:
• A versatile writer who is a detail-oriented analytical thinker and an energetic fast learner who is not afraid to ask questions to develop a deep understanding of BTN Group editorial products and the audiences they serve
• Keen ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with complex information is critical
• Prior experience with social media management, SEO and content management systems required
• Experience with survey-building software a plus
What You Have:
• 2 to 3 years of experience writing for an editorial/online publishing outlet, with specific experience in managing content for social media and analyzing audience engagement
• Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism or other related concentration
