**Position located in Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA**

Proactively manage, coordinate and develop all operational aspects within Rigging and Hanging Signs line of business. Deliver the highest level of hassle-free customer service in the most efficient manner possible.

Responsibilities

College degree required

Trade Show industry experience preferred

Experience reading floor plans, and construction drawings and use of CAD and Adobe experience preferred

Seven (7) to ten (10) years in an operational environment, which included management functions.

ETCP Certification preferred and/or strong knowledge of rigging equipment, materials and basic understanding of load calculations

Familiarity working in a union environment preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Must be detail oriented

Must demonstrate ability to interface with individuals in a supervisory capacity as well as have the ability to comfortably interface with customers and senior level managers

Must demonstrate proficiency in basic financial and computer skills

Must be able and willing to travel across the US, primarily within the Southeast region

Qualifications

Manage preshow planning and communication with exhibitors and Client Service Managers to gather all info need for hanging signs and rigging jobs on upcoming shows and events.

Create customer installation estimates and participate in the inspection of installations.

Develop and manage all labor calls and staffing plans to ensure they are fact based and in alignment with the operations plan, the show budget, and service requirements.

At show site, provide comprehensive daily updates on progress of all orders. Identify risks, and recovery actions

Ensure compliance with facility rules, OHSA, ETCP and Safety Requirements.

Coordinate activities with vendors and subcontractors for rental materials and subcontract labor needs.

Ensure proper billing practices and proper documentation of materials, labor, and rental equipment is performed to ensure accurate invoicing, for the purpose of capturing all revenue.

Ability to identify, respond and resolve billing related concerns with customers in a timely manner.

Manage show portfolio cost and departmental overheads cost that are directly related to Rigging and Hanging signs at or below plan.

Proactively develop fully integrated operational plans for all shows to ensure planned labor and show margins are met or exceeded.

Manage all operations involving Union personnel within the guidelines and spirit of the current contract.

Understand Management Rights and Manage to the agreed upon Collective Bargaining Agreement

Manage, supervise and schedule assigned operations staff to include objectives and goals, developmental action plans and employee reviews for direct reports.

Implement SOP and Best Practices while identifying efficiencies and pro-actively developing process improvements.

Ensure Damage and Loss reports are documented in adherence with company policies and practices. Provide leadership to ensure that there is representation and participation from the Rigging and Hanging Sign line of business in all pre show meetings. The team is to provide a Productivity Improvement Plan, a Service Plan, development of revenue enhancement plans to review during all planning meetings and clearly document operation process improvement opportunities in the post show meetings.

Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Work Environment

Must be able to walk show floor in order to supervise crew

Must be able to work extended hours based on schedule- includes weekends and evenings Requires ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities

Must be able to work under pressure

Opportunity to work nights, weekends and at showsite

Position may require long hours during several months of the year. Typically performs work on the event floor, in noisy and crowded areas

Frequently encounters uncomfortable temperatures, dust and/or other conditions

Requires working both alone and with others in a team atmosphere

Requires working with union and non-union employees
